This delicious and full flavoured chutney made from beautiful apricots grown in an old family orchard in southern New South Wales is a great accompaniment when served with grilled or poached chicken, lamb, salmon or tuna fish cakes, grilled fish, as a topping for a canape or water biscuit spread with goat’s or cream cheese or perhaps as an addition to your cheese platter. Fresh apricots, brown onion, brown sugar, chilli, sea salt, water, cracked black pepper, ginger, cider vinegar, garlic, mustard seeds, currants, sultanas, ground coriander and five spice powder.
This delicious chutney could also be served with gourmet pork sausages, or perhaps poached or grilled chicken atop potato mash and steamed green beans.
