Made this summer season with apricots grown in an old family orchard in southern New South Wales. Such a treat when eaten atop hot buttered toasted sourdough bread with a good hot cup of tea! See “Serving Suggestions” for more ideas.

Fresh home-grown apricots, water, lemon juice, sugar and butter.
For a delicious dessert: take 2 tablespoons of jam and mix with 1-2 tablespoons of boiling water, stir until combined, cool then gently fold through freshly cut fruit and serve on a large platter.
